
Martin is a founding Partner and Director of Q4PR. At Q4PR, Martin works with a range of clients including major corporates, state entities and NGOs.
He is one of Ireland’s most experienced communications strategists, with particular expertise in strategic counsel and corporate public relations. He has wide ranging experience in the areas of issues and crisis management.
He has particular expertise in the design and implementation of public information campaigns, having successfully worked on multiple successful outreach programmes.
Martin was General Secretary of Fianna Fail from January 1998 until early 2003, and was chief strategist with regard to campaigning and election strategy. This entailed developing campaigns from scratch, including market research, campaign design, message discipline and overall management of all organisational aspects of the campaign. Martin was appointed to Seanad Éireann in May 2002.
Martin is a former Fellow of the Institute of Politics at the Kennedy School of Government in Harvard, lecturing on aspects of the European integration process.
He is a board member of Culture Ireland, with a strong personal interest in the promotion of the arts.
